Running nightly from 22 May to 13 June 2026, this spectacular seven-minute installation combines cutting-edge lasers, experimental projection mapping, cinematic audio and architectural visuals to create a powerful journey through time itself.
Set within the sandstone walls of one of Sydney’s oldest historic passageways, TIME:WARPED invites audiences to reflect on time as both a universal force and a deeply personal experience.

Beginning with the rhythm of a single human heartbeat and a solitary beam of laser light, TIME:WARPED gradually expands into an all-encompassing sensory experience.
As the soundtrack evolves into pulsing electronic energy, the installation moves through intricate natural formations, sacred geometry and geological patterns inspired by phyllotaxis — the mathematical arrangement found in leaves, flowers and natural growth systems.
From there, the experience accelerates through humanity’s architectural evolution, exploring towering cathedrals, engineered structures and imagined future worlds created through sweeping laser tapestries and immersive visual design.
The result is a hypnotic meditation on time as:
