Step up to the flower microphone and watch as the dream you just spoke, whispered or sung into its petals is translated into a unique, sprawling animated tree before your eyes.

A dream is an act of transformation. Memories, observations, snippets of conversations are shaped into something new by your subconscious. Stem is an extension of this act of dreaming—a means of seeing transformation take place in real time.

Differences in volume, pitch and cadence of voice will trigger alternative colours, growth patterns and shapes of the dream-tree sprouting right in front of you on the Cadmans Cottage façade.

Intuitive, stunning and interactive, this work reminds us that we can make our dreams come true.
