Already generating buzz online after a handful of live shows and a single demo, Melbourne band Station Model Violence is the all-new musical project formed by DX, best known for Total Control and The UV Race, and Buz from R.M.F.C..

Making their hugely anticipated Sydney Opera House debut, the band plays one blistering night only at Vivid LIVE.

As part of legendary Melbourne band Total Control, former UV Race member Daniel Stewart – aka DX – helped define the sound of the city’s underground music scene. Across the post-punk classic Henge Beat (2011), Typical System (2014) and Laughing At The System (2017), the band earned a devoted cult following both in Australia and around the world.

Sydney musician Buz Clatworthy launched R.M.F.C – or Rock Music Fan Club – as a bedroom project while he was still a teenager. His early cassettes, collected as the Hive volumes 1 and 2 LPs in 2021, were addictive dispatches from society’s fringe, full of addictive melodies, garage rock jangle and anarcho-punk drums. He released his debut album, Club Hits, in 2023.
