A Spectacular Fusion of Light, Sound and Fire
Sky Symphony elevates Vivid Sydney’s acclaimed Laser Lightfall installation by combining it with a synchronised fireworks display and an epic musical composition. The result is a dramatic performance that unfolds across the harbour skyline, blending fire, lasers, water, music and architecture into one unforgettable show.
Visitors can expect an immersive experience where bursts of colour illuminate the night sky while precision laser beams sweep across Cockle Bay in perfect harmony with a specially created soundtrack.
The production has been developed through a collaboration between internationally renowned creative teams including ER Productions, Jono Ma of Sonar Music, and Foti International Fireworks, bringing together expertise in large-scale laser installations, music composition and pyrotechnic design.
Part of the Laser Lightfall Experience
Sky Symphony forms part of the wider Laser Lightfall installation, one of the most ambitious laser experiences ever presented at Vivid Sydney. While Sky Symphony takes place twice each evening on selected nights, Laser Lightfall continues throughout the festival, running multiple sequences every hour between 6:00pm and 11:00pm.
The combination of these two experiences transforms Darling Harbour into one of the festival’s most dynamic and visually striking destinations.
