Taking a single step opens up a new realm of opportunity.
PORTAL transports you to a bizarre, magnificent moment in time when anything is possible. This towering installation, standing over 15 metres tall, evokes the Surrealist movement with its otherworldly display of blazing light and ambient soundtrack.
Step inside this monolith, and the soundscape begins. As you take in the magnificent archways, diffuse LED lights pulse in sync with the beat. PORTAL’s reflective surfaces catch clouds, trees, and their surroundings. By framing Barangaroo Headland in a dreamy manner, PORTAL asks you to reframe your own perception of the world around you.
