Presented as part of the vibrant Tumbalong Nights live music program, this free open-air performance on 5 June 2026 brings together rising stars from Opera Australia, internationally acclaimed tenor Diego Torre, and a spectacular ensemble performing some of opera’s most electrifying moments in the heart of Sydney.

Moonlight Opera forms part of Tumbalong Nights, a massive free live music series transforming Darling Quarter into one of Sydney’s most exciting entertainment destinations during Vivid Sydney.
Across 23 nights, audiences can enjoy an eclectic lineup of international artists, Australian musicians, DJs, family entertainment and cultural performances, all set against the glowing atmosphere of Vivid Sydney’s iconic light installations.
