Guruwin (Shark) is a must-see family-friendly production by world-renowned visual theatre creators and puppeteers ERTH Visual and Physical Inc.

Meet bull sharks, grey nurses, and the majestic great white. Come face to face with a diverse range of stunning sea life that has existed since our prehistoric past, as well as the abundant variety that presently inhabits Sydney Harbour.

Presented as a live poetic documentary, Guruwin’s stunning puppets will amaze and delight, forcing you to examine our own role in saving these much-maligned magnificent creatures.

Guruwin is the Gadigal word meaning shark. This new work by Erth Visual & Physical Inc, exhibited in cooperation with the Australian National Maritime Museum, acknowledges and reaffirms First Nations ties to our waterways and their inhabitants.

Events In Sydney acknowledges and respects Aboriginal people as the state’s first people and nations and recognises Aboriginal people as the Traditional Owners and occupants of New South Wales land and water.
