The Woman in Black, Britain’s second longest running play after The Mousetrap, tells the story of a lawyer preoccupied with a curse he believes was laid on him and his family by the ghost of a Woman in Black. He hires a dubious young actor to help him tell his frightening narrative and overcome the fear that clutches his spirit. It all starts innocently enough, but as they delve deeper into his worst recollections, they find themselves immersed in a world of strange marshes and moaning winds.
