In a secluded coastal house, two retired nuclear physicists, Hazel and Robin, live a modest life of yoga, salads, and farming. Their former workplace, a nuclear power station, was recently destroyed by a tsunami. Radiation floods the atmosphere. One evening, an old coworker, Rose, arrives suddenly with a proposal that will upset their already fragile world.

Lucy Kirkwood’s Tony-nominated play (Chimerica, Mosquitoes) explores accountability and mortality in this surprisingly hilarious and thought-provoking work. Head, heart, and humour: the ideal combination.
