Step into a memory playground packed with noughties nostalgia, where lines between past and future are blurred. Do you remember what it felt like to be a child?

Jacaranda tree. Tamagotchi. Rainbow Fairies. Bucket Hat. Dancing Queen. Gumnuts. Saddle Club. Hide and Seek. Friendship. Heartbreak. Euphoria. The full range of human emotion exists on this playground.

RECESS is a joyful, genre-jumping and disarmingly honest return to primary school. A new work of devised theatre by adults who were once children, exploring how we used to dream, feel and play.

Invite your inner child to join their new bestfriends in an experience of shared remembering that will have you laughing, playing and crying alongside the performers.
