Sydney WorldPride hit Blak & Deadly: The First Nations Gala Concert is back!

Lighting up City Recital Hall, faboriginal Steven Oliver returns as host, joined by Aria-award winning hitmaker Emily Wurramara, Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Daniel Mateo, the smooth sounds of Sivillion, performance art icons The Huxleys, burlesque artist Kitty Obsidian, the beloved Nana Miss Koori and the Supreme Dream Girls Josie Baker, Felicia Foxx and Jojo Zaho. Celebrate pre- and post-show at the Hall, with DJs and surprise performances filling the theatre foyers.

The event has been curated by the original creator of Blak & Deadly Ben Graetz aka Miss Ellaneous with associate curators Aunty Sue Pinckham and Liza-Mare Syron.

MobTix returns for Sydney Mardi Gras 2025, presented in partnership with ACON’s First Nations Health Programs. Sydney Mardi Gras is committed to working closely with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to celebrate and elevate First Nations LGBTQIA+SB culture.

The MobTix Program has been designed to create opportunities and accessibility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and ensure participation in the festival. MobTix is a special allocation of tickets that permits Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples within Australia to submit an expression of interest to purchase up to 2 tickets to any eligible event for $49+BF each.
