Join filmmaker Paul Goldman for the World Premiere of this next Australian classic at the Sydney Film Festival. Sweat and sand are guaranteed to fly in this 1970s-set touring boxing tent spectacle!

Director Paul Goldman (Australian Rules, 2002; Ego: The Michael Gudinski Story, 2023) casts Phoebe Tonkin (Boy Swallows Universe) and Billy Howle (The Serpent) in the story of a washed-up slugger granted one last shot at the title. Kid Snow (Howle) ended up in the tent boxing circuit after squandering his opportunity for glory. Sunny (Tonkin) is a single mother who enters Kid’s life just as he is promised a lucrative rematch with the champion who defeated him ten years before. Goldman’s wonderfully photographed picture revives a uniquely Australian type of entertainment that is now nearly extinct, with additional romance, blood, dust, and redemption.
