As we enter the Year of the Snake join us in this action-packed workshop for kids. We celebrate the Lunar New Year with the story of the Chinese Zodiac and the race of the animals. We will explore the role of snakes in Chinese art and culture with creative activities as we wind our way through the museum like an agile serpent.

We will make some paper lanterns and paper chain snakes and wish good fortune to the new year. Then, we explore the world of snakes using the Chau Chak Wing Museum’s natural history collection and learn some amazing facts about serpents and their role in nature.

Suitable for 6-12 year olds. Parents and guardians are requested to stay with their children.
