Sydney Quantum Academy will host the Quantum Future Talent 2026 Careers Fair on Monday 18 May 2026, bringing together the country’s emerging quantum workforce with leading employers, industry organisations and universities.
Following a sold-out inaugural event in 2025, Quantum Future Talent returns for 2026 as a dedicated careers fair for undergraduates, graduates, postgraduates and career changers seeking pathways into Australia’s growing quantum workforce – which is projected to employ upwards of 19,400 people and be worth $6 billion by 2045, according to CSIRO modelling.
The Quantum Future Talent 2026 Careers Fair attracts hundreds of delegates for the ultimate in-person networking event, connecting attendees with the employers, industry leaders and university representatives who are shaping quantum fields. More than 30 exhibitors are expected to attend, representing quantum fields including sensing, communications, computing, semiconducting and more.
This year’s event introduces a new feature: speed networking sessions, offering preselected attendees the opportunity to take part in short, one-on-one interviews with prospective industry employers.
The program also includes a curated panel discussion featuring industry leaders and prominent voices from across the quantum ecosystem. Attendees will gain insight into emerging opportunities, in demand skills and the diverse career trajectories available in this rapidly growing sector.
