Stage and screen star Rachael Beck (Beauty and the Beast, Les Misérables, Hey Dad!) performs a brand-new collection of monologues interspersed with songs and surprising anecdotes from some extraordinary Australian women.
Conceived with James Millar (Matilda the Musical), In Her Own Words features contributions from singer-songwriters Kate Miller-Heidke and Kate Ceberano, visual artists Yvette Coppersmith and Sally Browne, screen producer Celia Tait, Oz Harvest visionary Ronni Kahn, journalist and bestselling author Sarah Wilson, Les Girls legend Carlotta, media icon Ita Buttrose and more.
Beck turns the spotlight on women in arts and humanities, science, politics, sport, conservation and charity to tell their stories in their own words.
