
This year's Sydney Festival started on Saturday night with a giant street party in the city's CBD.
Several city blocks were closed off for a party involving 200 performers on six stages.
There was salsa in Macquarie Street, club music in Martin Place and the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson in the Domain.
