Doug BollingerThey did bowl well. There was swing there, but they exploited it well… But full credit to Australia, they took the games away.” Dhoni

“Perhaps the most satisfying series win I have been involved in. To get 11 players on the field has been a challenge in some of the games , in a couple of close games it has been the difference… ” Ponting

“I am real happy today. This tour has been a good learning experience, all different kinds of wickets, conditions…” Doug Bollinger

Aussie“They got off to a good start and we never got into a postion to contain them. It was one of the good ODI tracks we have seen in India, you have to be smart. Hopefully we will be up for the next two games.” Dhoni

” It was one of the amazing games and certainly one of the best innings ever from Sachin. Its unbelievable how we have played, considering all the injuries. Marsh played realy well.” Ponting

“I thought we started off really well then lost wickets. yeah It was one of my best knocks. I care about playing for India, it’s a passion and I have been absoloutely honoured to play for India so long.” Sachin

Dhoni-Yuvraj“We were in a good position at 60 for 3, we needed to take a couple of wickets in the middle of the innings, Yuvraj and Dhoni were superb, we had our moments but did not capitalise.”Ponting

“On this wicket, I think everybody bowled well. I’m really happy. The pitch was looking really ugly. All in all, it was a great team effort.” Dhoni

“Yeah, I was a bit rusty at the start. I was proving myself here. I think it was slightly better to bat on second, but it was not a good batting wicket.” Yuvraj

Dhoni“It was always going to be a hard run chase. The wicket was very good and it was a fantastic surface to play ODI. The dew didn’t play that much a part as we though. we should have been just two wickets down but we had lost quite a few by then.”Ponting

“We lost Sachin early but Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag provided the ideal start. Then Yuvraj Singh played well. The platform was given for me to come and do my stuff. We knew that with five overs of Powerplay left, if we can take it at 38 or 40 overs we can always get to a big total. One of those innings that was good. The wicket was good and I exploited that.” Dhoni man of the match

KYLIE Minogue“I can keep a much lower profile, which is enjoyable, And then if someone’s looking at me, I’m like! Why are they staring at me? What’s wrong? Have I got something on my face? I’ve had lots [of fans] dressed as versions of me. I’ve had flight attendants, robots, showgirls, all of them – from three-year-olds up.” she said

“Our batsmen were to blame on a wicket where we should have been looking at scoring at least 300 runs. Shane Watson and Ricky Ponting played magnificently well and they did a thoroughly professional job on us.” Strauss

“Ricky really helped me a lot throughout my innings, especially in the middle period, so to have him there getting me through that period was excellent.” Watson

“We can take some confidence out of that for when we go to the final on Monday.” Ponting

Mitchell Johnson

“I’m really blown away, I am just surprised to be up here. It has been a great 12 months for our side. We have lost some wonderful players in recent years and we have been rebuilding with some young guys in the team and we have played together well.” said Johnson.

Ricky Ponting“The Pakistanis bowled well, and thankfully Brett Lee and Hauritz showed some steel in the end and got us over the line. It’s a good achievement for our team and we’re looking to go at least another step further.” man of the match Hussey.

“I was chewing my fingers nails up there for the last little bit, That ended up being closer than I thought was possible.”  said skipper Ponting

“There’s nothing bad about it because like South Africa and Sri Lanka in the last T20, you can win all your matches in the first stage and then suddenly lose a big game, It will be good for us, sometimes it’s good for a team to be defeated, it makes you tougher.” said Younus.
