familiarWhile walking through the Cambridge Town, I noticed that most of things there seemed familiar to me, which was strange as this was my first time visit ever. Why is it like that i was continously thinking while walking. ooo Yeah i had seen these kinds of shops, buildings, streets in UK last year when i was on World Tour,  Most importantly the London’s famous Red Telephone Booths. Even people looked British to me after that but in small shorts and ties with cold beers instead of wearing double sweaters and gloves while having long black coffee. Both my friends were talking about their upcoming marriages, they had no idea what i was thinking and experiencing  the strange world.i just took a long breath while looking at them and kept trying to take some more pics, anyways. ” Salman take my pic with this phone booth please ” i said, and he took, so this is ME.

cambridgeAfter driving around an hour we reached a town called CAMBRIDGE. Ossi started telling us about its history and everything while we parked the car and walked through the town. ” Why eveything is closed here in the middle of the day”, i asked. He replied ” Today is public holiday that is why”. We seen some places, very old and well mentained town hall building, closed shops, ooooo Yeh some people too who were sitting just outside the one and only opened cafe’ shop. It was very hot and sunny day.” Yaar i am hungry”, suddenly Salman said his favourite words. Ossi and me laughed and started searching the restuarents, we found SUBWAY. Everyone had 12″ tuna sandwich with extra sauces. We had our meals in our car while watching some KIWI chicks in their summer cloths, took some pics and again started our journey towards beach.

driving1“Osima Osima  wakeup wakeup Osima Osima”, i heard it early in the morning, i thought, who is this and why he is pronouncing his name (osman) so badly,  i got my answer when the same guy came to me in a sec and said ” Ahmed bhai wakeup, i made a tea for u guys and Osima is not waking up”, then i figured out he is Osman’s housemate. I smiled and came to that room which was next to kitchen and where Salman and Osman were sleeping, i noticed Salman was laughing, i did join him and said.” Yaar i wokeup to kill him but he has no idea TEA saved his life”. ” Yeh i know i do the same when i had to wake u up”, he replied. Anyways we had shower, made breakfast (eggs + bread + tea agian), got ready with my camera and Osman started driving to his favourite beach. Roads were so neat n clean, too much greenary on both sides with not much traffic. We were listening the music loudly even Osman had not music system in his car, Thanks to Salman who was operating his laptop while sitting in the back and telling us agian and again after every song, ” Laptop battery will be dead soon”. Who cares as i was too busy in taking pictures.

hamilton“Yaar here petrol is so expensive, look at there” , I almost screamed at both my friends(Salman & Osman).” Yeh here petrol is more expensive than Sydney” Osman replied. It was our first day out after we arrived at Auckland Airport in NewZealand around 10pm. Osman was there waiting for us with his housemate Bootwala. ” How was the flight ” he asked, ” Not too bad actually” i said while hugging him and shaking hand with his friend. He started driving his Honda Civic after putting our luggage in car’s boot. He asked ” you wana have dinner”. “Yeh ” Salman screamed at him and looked at him with anger. Osman smiled and said ” you are always hungry even after having had a complete meal’. He was right because he used to live with him in Sydney for several years, took 2 hours from Auckland Airport to Hamilton. After reached home, we had shower, dinner, had a chit chat a bit then we slept as we were very tired because we had to wakeup early in the morning to catchup our flight to NZ.

So we went to board in, through very tight customs and security checking. We still had littlebit of time, so we just sitting outside the gate and rechecked our travel documents and hand luggage. I was looking at other people who were seeing off thier loved one’s. Some were sad, Some were crying and hugging tightly and hoping to see eachothers soon. I just looked  at Salman and said ” Yaar no one is here to see us off, look at others”. He just smiled and kept rechecking his documents. We heard the annoucement agian that our flight is ready, a young KIWI chick received us warmly at the door and told us where our seats were with nice smile. We put our seat belts on and here we go, the land of beautiful landscapes, beaches and breathtaking sences WE ARE COMING!

Then we bought a Perfume for him, not too bad even for pricewise because Sydney Airport has plenty of Duty Free Shops. “Yaar we still have time lets go for Oporto” i said. He asked ” is it HALAAL at Airport”. I replied ” yeh all Oportos are HALAAL , so NO WORRIES MATE “. Then we had regular Bondi Meals, while having our meals we called a few friends about our holidays.

syd-airportFinally we  packed our bags and arrived at so neat and clean fully safe Sydney Airport(Terminal 1, international). One of our friends just dropped us there and said with big smile “Have a good time Mate”. We reached to Air NewZealand counter and a nice lady greeted us with a smile “May i help u”.  “Yes” My friend Salman answered quickly as he loves to speak english. He requested her for our seats together which she did with ease. When we reached the terminal gate we noticed that we still had 2 hours to fly, suddenly we started abusing our that friend who just dropped us at Airport because he dropped us too early there. Honestly he had to start his job early. :) Anyways thanks but no thanks to him, because we had to spend 2 long hours there and had no idea what to do!
