“Here’s my issue – I don’t get asked out by people close to my age - I want to get asked out by someone over 40, not 25 or 30. Not that I don’t enjoy younger people’s company or respect them. I just want to be with someone with life experience closer to my own. But I would like it if they worked out like a 20 year old. I’ve developed a fitness programme – it’s mental, spiritual, physical, lifestyle, home. But it all boils down to just really accepting yourself and loving your age.” she said.

I spend so much time with the brightest and most talented and well-rounded people, I’ve had the privilege of having long and very intellectual conversations with people and sometimes I just sit there and listen. It’s like a better version of a class. I’m not per se sitting at a desk and in school but I’m still learning all the time. Being a role model is a real responsibility because you’re judged so harshly and any little mistake you make could appear huge in other people’s eyes, I worry a lot about messing up. People have to understand that I’m still young and I’m going to be selfish and do silly things that I’ll regret. “Girls are awful, But I think girls are awful because of the way society is set up and that we’re forced to constantly be in competition for male attention. I think we’re raised the wrong way with the wrong standards and our fathers raise us wrong. And so we search the rest of our lives for boys to pay attention to validate us. But I don’t want to elaborate. I would never call myself a cutter. Girls go through different phases when they’re growing up, when they’re miserable and do different things, whether it’s an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting.” said Transformers star.

“I like to do my own food shopping, I don’t have a staff to go out and get shopping for me. Occasionally I will ask someone to go out and pick me up something if they are by the store – but I always buy my own stuff. I don’t get hassled by people either when I go shopping. Mischa has complained to cast members, ‘All I can do is smoke cigarettes’, Really, it was blown out of proportion and I’m fine now, But it was just a really bad time for me. It was just that I was overwhelmed, I had too much work going on. I’d had surgery for my wisdom teeth that went really badly. They had to drill into my jaw and I was just in excruciating pain. I had an infection and a dry socket. Meanwhile I still had a schedule to travel. I was going to Europe. I was going to London. I had so much work to do and the surgery had gone so badly for me and I think that I was just starting to feel completely overwhelmed. I have such a new-found respect for people who live with that kind of pain and I think it was just a wake-up call for me about life and respecting life so much more.”

“I love working but you can get used to having time off! Staying at home with the kids, just watching everything they do, is awesome. I love every minute of it. It did take a lot of work, I thought it was going to drop off easily because I’d been in shape my whole life. But it wasn’t easy. It was an uphill struggle. I had gained about 50lb while pregnant. The first 30lb dropped off like that and I was so pleased. Then I had to lose the last 15 or 20lb that just didn’t want to go. I had to diet and work out a lot.” Jennifer Lopez.
