German designer Karl Lagerfeld watches models presenting his creations for Chanel during the spring-summer 2010 haute couture collection show in Paris.
“I don’t think we ever thought of being in the entertainment business, We started having our clothing stores six years before the show [Keeping Up With The Kardashians] and we’ve always been really fashion-oriented. Emma Watson is the latest child star to tell the world she’s all grown up with the help of a major advertising campaign. Having found fame in the Harry Potter series as serious sorceress Hermione, Watson has left her wand at home to front the Autumn/Winter Burberry Campaign.
“Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign who like the images she fronts, has a classic beauty a great character and a modern edge,” says Burberry’s creative director Chistopher Bailey.
“I believe that these iconic images shot by Mario Testino will have longevity well beyond the season that this ad campaign represents.”

Fashion Unearthed reflects that movement through eco-friendly labels from across Australia and abroad. They offer an exciting array of collections that combine sustainable principles with craftsmanship, ingenuity and loads of flair.
Natural fibres and processes; traditional hand-crafted techniques ranging from weaving and knitting, to screen-printing and embroideries; recycling, reinventing and creating sustainable fashion for the 21st century – the time-honoured and cutting edge meet at Fashion Unearthed.
